Hi there, I looks very intriguing, but since I am not computer literate (at all!), I'm afraid most of what you described won't find its way home. I wish I could help though, just tell me what I can do without any skill or knowledge in IT.

Given your excellent knowledge of French / English, you would be great as an Editor. This is the second phase of the translation process, where any remaining errors are corrected, before final proofreading. In addition to the changes themselves, each Section (sentence) has a comment area where you can leave one of your fine explanations. If you can send me an email address by PM, I will sign you up and send you an invitation.

What languages do you hope to put up? What languages can it do?
Just curious.

The platform itself supports about 90 languages, if you count variants (French and French Canadian, UK and US English).
It's only a translation platform, so won't teach you any of these languages, and the articles for translation need to be sourced and uploaded.
One interesting feature is support for multi-language glossaries, so the preferred translation for a word or phrase can be defined for multiple target languages. Fr. couleur > colour (UK) or color (US).

I wonder what the difference between French and French Canadian is. I always thought it was more a question of accent.A pity we cannot write with local accents :-)

Sounds great! Look forward to it, especially the ability to be able to have a go at translating odd sentences instead of having to systematically work through an article from beginning to end.
