Questions regarding the copyright policy should be asked in this thread.

Are there any exceptions to the copyright policy if the person posting holds the copyright to the piece?

wildsage Yes, that would be a possible exception. However it would be necessary to prove ownership of the copyright, which might be difficult to do given the online format.

I do not know where to look for articles that are in accordance with the copyright policy. In DL Immersion all of this was very easy: If you could not upload an article then you knew it was protected by copyright. Could you please give me a few hints? Thanks and regards, Magalie48/Arlette

Hi Arlette,
You will find articles in the public domain on Project Gutenburg, Wikisource and also by searching via Google for copyright free/public domain books, articles or short stories. If you find something which interests you, it should tell you, either on the site terms and conditions or in the details of the document if it is available under Creative Common or not and if so to what extent.
I hope this is useful but if not, then let me know if I can help any further.
Best wishes, Gena.
