I will now start to set up Translator accounts on SmartCAT, based on your initial expressions of interest here:

Please post below or send me a private message, if:
I will do my best to get invitations out as soon as possible and you will then be about to do the introductory tutorial. However, as a translator, you will not be able to upload new materials; only Project Managers can do this. And you need to be assigned to their Projects to work on the documents. Please refer to the appropriate language translation boards to see what is currently available, then ask nicely if you want to join a community translation project.
Note that the SussexSoleil SmartCAT account server is hosted in Ireland and therefore subject to EU data protection laws. However, any SmartCAT user with Admin rights to that account will be able to view your email address. Currently, I am the only user with those Admin rights ("small comfort", I heard someone mutter ), but that will inevitably change over time.
Reminder:
When you get your invite and before signing in for the first time, please read the Terms of Service - not all of it applies. I will be running the SussexSoleil SmartCAT account for the time being, as what is know as an LSP - a Language Service Provider, or translation bureau. Because this is a new offering, even for SmartCAT, the Terms of Service are not very specific to that operating model.
However, many of the terms are implicit on you, if you choose to become a member of the SussexSoleil training account. And because we are operating on a commercial website, there will be zero tolerance for any anti-social behavior including, but not limited to:
Vandalism
Inappropriate content
Spamming
Trolling
Hate postings
