Ok Jo. I don't know if it is possible to move a post from one thread to another. I'll just retype it.

lakapsule44 No, it's a fair question. Google Docs allows multiple people to work on the same text at the same time (simultaneously?). Also, you can see who else is working on the document at the same time that you are working on it, and send each other instant messages, which is something that wouldn't be available if we just send texts in a topic. The benefits of user visibility and instant messaging are drastically reduced duplicated work and the ability to quickly ask each other questions if some sort of difficulty with the text arises. Does that answer your question?

Great ! Thanks. I see that I don't know well the use of Google Docs, otherwise I don't ask such a question. That sounds very good. We had this problem on immersion ; I often send a translation while someone had sent one when I had been translating the same.

Hi everyone, although I have been learning Spanish for some years I was quite new to Duolingo, just a couple of months. I quickly made progress through the English/Spanish trees and was really getting into immersion, enjoying the sheer breadth of subject matter. I was extremely disappointed when it was removed and hope that we are able to replicate something similar here. I am looking forward to seeing how things develop.

Hello all. Thanks, Br0d4 for your invitation. I liked Immersion too. I'll try to be happy to work with you on the new "Immersion". Sorry for my English.

G'day everyone, While lamenting the loss of immersion, I'm glad to see the spirit of the community live on. I've seen the demise of one platform in the past result in that community moving to an entirely different forum site with great success in the past, and truly hope this goes as well as it did then. Happy to be onboard with you all. :-)

Yes, we can see the obstacles like opportunities.

Great! Vas au profil de ton ami (clique sur son nom où il est bleu). Il y a un autre bouton "Follow", dans la même place que "Edit profile" sur ton profil. Clique sur ça, et voila !

Merci Emilie, I undestand. Avant de créer une liste, je pense que je dois attendre la vérification par Jo sur le site de Duolingo. (Now, I'am just waiting for the verification.) See you soon.
